How did this unique wedding unfold?

Margaret and David’s wedding was a relaxed and beautiful day, full of laughs and quirky details that made it very special for them both. This perfectly demonstrating that being a Cuckoo Couple is not affected by age, sex, colour or outrageousness, it’s just about being completely in love with each other.

This Cuckoo Couple had a two day wedding celebrations. They wanted for their first day to be intimate and with only very close friends and family. They start the day with a lovely intimate ceremony in The West London Synagogue where they said their “I do” under a flower arch in company of their dear family. After the ceremony the reception was held at Arch Hotel in Marylebone. Drinks and smiles were in the menu before sitting down to a very relaxed late lunch. Margaret is a classical trained musician so David’s present to his new wife was a reproduction of an antique music manuscript which is Margaret’s favourite; how sweet is that gesture?

Over the weekend the newlyweds had a reception and party at their country house in East Sussex where family and friends met to celebrate the new couple new steps together. It was an amazing sunny day with lovely light and everybody enjoyed lunch under a spaciouse marquet, laughing during the speeches and being entertained by The London Essential, making everybody laugh and interact in a beautiful party. Even Margaret’s son joined the performers and sang iconic London theatre songs to the guests!

And what better to complete a very hot day that jumping in the lake for a swim! That definitely was the icing on the cake for a summer day!
