What made you choose Queen’s House for your wedding?

We had our hearts set on getting married in Greenwich, as it is where we both live and we both feel very strongly about the place! We visited several venues before deciding upon the Queen’s House, it just had that ‘special’ feeling about it. It’s a truly unique wedding venue in the green and leafy surroundings of Greenwich Park, London. It has spectacular views across the gardens of historic Greenwich, the River Thames and the contrasting skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. We also liked how there was lots of space and variety for guests to explore.

Where did your wedding dress come from? And why did you choose that stunning one?

I chose my beautiful wedding dress from Pronovias. It just felt right – I always wanted long sleeves and a high neckline, as it was an October wedding. I actually tried on the one I thought I really wanted first, found I didn’t like it so much as in pictures, and found the dress I ended up wearing about 3 dresses after that 1st one. I knew it was the one when I didn’t want to take it off!
